Description

SUMMARY: To assist with the efficient Cash Count operations by ensuring that all policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines are complied with including securing assets. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule, train, coach, and evaluate staff and conduct performance reviews
  • Direct daily work activities and inspect completed work activities for conformance to standards and Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS)
  • Safeguard company assets
  • Assist team members with day-to-day processes
  • Perform inventory control of supplies and equipment

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge and Certification

Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • 1-year experience in bank or casino cash services operations
  • 6 months supervisory experience

REQUIRED TRAINING

  • Treasure Island guest service training
  • Effectively Handling Harassment training
  • Department equipment training including bill stacker exchange, currency counting, table games boxes and soft equipment
  • Any position-related training as determined by department manager

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to walk and / or stand and sit for long periods throughout the day
  • Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel routinely
  • Must be able to repetitively push, pull, grip and grasp objects
  • Must be able to reach and twist routinely
  • Must have the ability to independently lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must have good eye and hand coordination
  • Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Cash Services areas (including Vault), gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke
  • Must be able to work in cramped, tight quarters
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Occasionally overtime may be required
  • Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
  • High volume direct public contact
