Job summary

Sysco Corporation is seeking a Case Packer for a production warehouse. You will clean packaging materials, load items into containers, weigh and label items, and perform final quality checks to ensure only good items reach the pick and pack area.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year in production, HACCP preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in cold environments is needed.

Job Summary:

The Case Packer is responsible for cleaning packaging materials, loading items into containers, weighing, and labeling the items appropriately. They also perform final checks for defective items and ensure all good quality items make it to the pick & pack area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verify product quality and correct labeling.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Confirm product counts at the end of the line.
• Confirm proper code date on product.
• Organize finished product onto bread racks for change over to pick pack area.
• Document and maintain records on item production counts.

Education Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience Required:

At least one year working in a Production environment

Licenses/Certification Preferred:

HACCP Certified

• Must be able to effectively perform in a multi-tasking environment with frequent interruptions.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
