Status: Full-time, Mon - Friday (hours may vary) FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Job Location: New York, NY Hourly range: $27.47 - $32.96 Objective Our mission is to create and sustain a strong, effective community that acknowledges and responds to the potential, achievements, and interdependence of its diverse members. The ideal candidate will have solid clinical knowledge as well as experience working with individuals that have been impacted by mental health illness, substance abuse, legal, criminal justice, and medical issues. Lantern is seeking an experiencedCase Manager for Rustin House, one of Lantern's supportive housing communities. The Case Manager will be expected to assist this population in stabilizing their lives, maintaining their housing stability, and attaining their physical, emotional, vocational, and social goals. Case Managers are responsible for assessing the needs of the client, linking clients to services, and planning a course of action toward stabilization and re-housing. They will also be monitoring progress, and documenting client contacts.
*This is a full-time position with a regular daytime schedule that may include 1-2 evening/late shifts. Lantern staff may be asked to change their work schedule and hours depending on the operational needs of the site and the agency.

Work Environment: This job operates in a supportive housing site in New York, NY, and works with a population who may suffer from mental illness, substance abuse, disability, HIV/AIDS, and/or other health issues.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, climb stairs, and/ or kneel. Occasionally the employee will have to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
