Job summary

Acumen Financial Advantage seeks a Case Manager, New Business to own the end-to-end process from intake to policy issuance and handoff, driving cases with speed, accuracy, and a superior client experience across carriers.

You’ll coordinate underwriting, gather documents, manage multi-carrier pipelines, and provide proactive status updates to clients, producers, and internal teams, ensuring timely placement.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of life insurance case management or new business experience.
• SIE and Series 99 (or within 90 days of hire).
• Strong knowledge of life insurance products and carrier processes.
• Ability to manage multi-carrier pipelines end-to-end.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; adept at remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own all cases from submission through policy issuance and handoff.
• Review applications for completeness and carrier requirements.
• Enter data into carrier systems and CRM with accurate notes.
• Coordinate underwriting requirements and schedule exams.
• Negotiate with underwriters for favorable risk classifications.
• Provide proactive status updates to clients, producers, and carriers.
• Ensure documentation meets SOPs and compliance.
