Do you enjoy helping youth reach their full potential? If so, we want you to be our next Independent Living Case Manager for to provide services to participants in The Villages of Indiana’s Older Youth Services (OYS) program.
The Case Manager will act as a team member by:
Supporting youth in building skills necessary to successfully transition to independence by assisting youth in accessing educational, employment/career, financial, mental/emotional, and community resources.
Developing rapport while using a strength-based approach with the youth.
Partnering with referring agencies, schools, community resources, to serve the needs of the youth.
Effectively and promptly responding to youth in crises situations.
Position Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or directly related human service field from an accredited four-year college is required. If BSW then LBSW is needed, or candidate needs to be working towards licensure.
Case managers work as a part of a larger treatment team; effective verbal and written communication is essential, on-call hours are required.
Youth Services Casework experience working with teens and young adults is strongly preferred.
