Status & Hours: This is a full-time position which includes one evening/late shift (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and weekend coverage. Lantern staff may be asked to adjust their schedule and hours based on the operational needs of the site and the agency.

Where You Will Work: Hudson Bay is a brand-new, all-female shelter in the Bronx housing 200 women aged 55 and older.
About the Role: We are seeking experienced Case Managers for our new women’s shelter in the Bronx. Case Managers are part of an interdisciplinary team focused on stabilizing shelter clients by strengthening independent living skills and supporting clients in achieving their housing goals. Case Managers are responsible for conducting assessments, linking clients to appropriate services, developing and implementing service plans, supporting stabilization and re-housing efforts, monitoring progress, and documenting all client interactions. The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness and/or mental health challenges.
Work Environment: This position operates in a shelter environment and works with a population who may experience mental illness, substance use, disability, HIV/AIDS, and other chronic health conditions.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, climb stairs, and/or kneel. Occasionally, the employee may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
