This is a community-based position. The Case Manager/CPST Provider delivers Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) services in accordance with Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) rule 5122-29-17 and the certification standards of the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) under Ohio Revised Code (ORC) Chapter 5119. CPST services provide an array of coordinated, individualized supports and interventions that address the mental health needs of the client and are designed to help the individual achieve and maintain stability and independence in the community. Services are delivered primarily in community settings — including the client's home, school, workplace, and other natural environments — as well as in office settings, and are directed toward adults, children, adolescents, and families. Services will vary with respect to hours, type, and intensity, depending on the changing needs of each individual as identified in the Individual Service Plan (ISP)/treatment plan.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less). The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate. Stress level can be high at times.
