Job summary

The Connection, Inc. seeks a Case Manager 1 for the Connection House in Middletown, CT. The role provides case management, job development and supervision to justice-involved men returning to the community, following a strengths-based approach.

The position requires a High School Diploma/GED with experience or an Associate’s Degree, and a valid driver’s license. Regular attendance and compassionate professionalism are essential for this 40-hour, 2nd shift role (Fri-Tue, 3-11p).

Responsibilities

Position: Case Manager 1Program: Connection HouseLocation: MiddletownSalary: $22.00/hourSchedule: Full time, 40 hours, 2nd shift, Friday-Tuesday (3-11p)Program Summary:Connection House is a residential work release program that provides educational and addiction services to adult males with substance use issues who are preparing to exit the criminal justice system. The three main purposes of the program are to maintain healthy recovery, secure employment, and become productive citizens.Position Summary:The Case Manager 1 will utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach, providing structure, case management, job development and supervision to justice-involved men as they re-enter the community. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice-involved.
