The Family Independence Administration provides temporary assistance to individuals and families with social service and economic needs, aiming to promote self-sufficiency through various programs/services such as: temporary cash assistance, SNAP, childcare, eviction prevention, adult protective services, job training, employment plans, domestic violence assistance, child support enforcement, etc.
Under the supervision of the Associate Benefits Opportunity Specialist III, the ABOS II is responsible for supervising teams of BOS staff involved in eligibility determination, financial planning, economic support, and related services to assist persons in need. The role involves supervisory, program development, analytical, and research skills to meet FIA/Benefits Access Center goals.
The FIA is recruiting for one (1) Associate Benefits Opportunity Specialist II, to serve as a Case Management Team Leader, with responsibilities including:
Hours/Shift: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm with flexible schedules.
