The successful candidate will maintain discharge packets, manage insurance authorizations, and support patients, staff, and physicians with timely clerical tasks while upholding safety, confidentiality, and infection prevention standards.

Qualifications

  • Two years' experience providing reliable administrative and/or clerical support.
  • Experience in Healthcare environment preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

  • Maintains DME databases, such as equipment and insurance.
  • Facilitates follow-ups and check-ins with clients to ensure service satisfaction.

  • Performs other duties as assigned to support organizational effectiveness.

Job description

The Case Management Assistant provides administrative/clerical support for the Case Management team. This position must integrate company values into daily practice.

Essential Functions
  • Maintains and update discharge packets and binders.
  • Maintains insurance authorization spreadsheets and provide clerical support such as phone calls, faxes, and scanning.
  • Maintains DME databases, such as equipment, companies, and corresponding insurance.
  • Facilitates follow-ups and check-ins with clients to ensure service satisfaction.
  • Coordinates physician signatures, forms, and callbacks.
  • Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Assesses the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions.
  • Complies with appropriate and approved safety and Infection Prevention standards.
  • Maintains regular attendance in keeping with assigned work schedule.
  • Completes required trainings, as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of the organization.
Minimum Job Requirements

Minimum Education & Experience

Two years' experience providing reliable administrative and/or clerical support required. Experience in Healthcare environment preferred.

Physical Requirements over the Course of a Shift
