Job summary

Every Child’s Hope is seeking a Case Aide to support foster care case management through transportation and supervised visitation. The role emphasizes trauma-informed approaches to foster positive family interactions and child development while ensuring safety.

The candidate will assist case managers, participate in meetings, and complete required training, with travel throughout Missouri and data entry duties essential to the program.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • One year of experience with children and families preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business material and regulations.
  • Proficient in basic computer use and data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide transportation of clients to appointments and supervise visits.
  • Support positive and safe interactions during visits.
  • Apply trauma-informed approaches to de-escalate situations.
  • Enter data into Missouri client data management system.
  • Attend trainings and internal/external meetings.

The Case Aide provides transportation, supervision of visits for children and families within the ECH program, and other support for the Foster Care Case Management (FCCM) program. This includes supervising visitation between clients and their family. The role of this position when supervising visits is to help facilitate a positive and safe interaction within the visit. Using a trauma informed perspective, this position may require ensuring safety of the client during visitation, offering supportive parenting suggestions, de-escalation of emotional interactions. Interactions with clients and families must be in line with the mission and values of Every Child’s Hope.Language SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software and Word Processing software.
