Washington County Licensing Unit in the Children's Division seeks a Case Aide to provide administrative support, identify licensed homes, and coordinate timely placements that meet safety and licensing requirements for children.
The role maintains records, tracks training and certification, and supports licensing information sharing with the community via email and phone. Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail are essential for timely placements.
This position provides support to the Washington County Licensing Unit in the Children's Division. The Licensing Unit Case Aide provides administrative and ongoing support to Child Care Licensing and Child Foster Care Licensing staff and providers. The primary responsibility is to identify appropriate licensed homes and coordinate timely placements that meet the needs, safety, and licensing requirements of children.
The Case Aide maintains records, tracks training and certification requirements, maintains reports, spreadsheets, and other program information. The Case Aide also provides licensing information and support to the community via email and phone, supports provider recruitment and retention efforts, recruitment events, meetings, advisory groups, committees, and other licensing activities.
Success in this role requires strong communication skills, organization, relationship-building, problem-solving, and attention to detail. The Case Aide must be able to respond quickly and effectively to time-sensitive and urgent placement needs. Other duties may be assigned to support the effective operation of Child Care and Child Foster Care Licensing programs.
Your training and experience will be rated based on the required application material submitted and the top scoring candidates will be forwarded to the hiring department for further consideration.
40 hours between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Work schedules (hours and days) and location are subject to change based on department needs.
$25.51 Hourly

The Case Aide-Community Services helps clients to obtain and maintain eligibility for social services and assists other professional staff in maintaining compliance with program requirements, and process financial transactions. Duties may vary depending on assigned program area.
This position requires a High School diploma (or equivalent) and three years (full time equivalent) of employment in a general office support position in a professional office setting; or, completion of an office support certificate/degree program and two years (full time equivalent) of employment in a general office support position in a professional office setting.

Work is sedentary in nature performed within the Government Center, satellite offices or on occasion client homes. Lifting requirement of 15 - 20 pounds on an occasional basis. Wrist and finger manipulation due to filing, compiling, calculating, or computer work. Equipment used may include, but is not limited to, computer, typewriter, calculator, telephone, copy and fax machine, scanner and dictaphone.
