Job summary

Elev8 Recovery Center in Harlem, NY, is seeking a CASAC Counselor to join a licensed SUD treatment team. You will manage 8-10 clients, conduct daily individual and group counseling, admissions assessments, case management and aftercare planning, crisis interventions, and develop individualized treatment plans.

Strong documentation skills and familiarity with OASAS guidelines are a plus. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of substance use counseling preferred.
• CASAC-T, CASAC, CASAC-A, CASAC-2, CASAC-M or CASAC-P certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 8-10 clients.
• Conduct daily individual and group counseling.
• Perform admissions assessments and aftercare planning.
• Provide case management and crisis interventions as needed.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain documentation.

Elev8 Recovery Center is looking for a CASAC Counselor. Elev8 Recovery Center is a cutting edge substance-use-disorder (SUD) treatment center that has partnered with DailyPay for same day access to funds! Employees no longer have to wait until pay day to get their earnings. We are located in Harlem, NY. We are an OASAS-licensed and CARF-certified Center of Excellence. Elev8 Recovery Center offers inpatient detox, withdrawal, and stabilization services, as well as inpatient rehabilitation services for individuals with substance use disorder.

Candidates must be able to manage a case load of 8-10 clients, conductdaily individual & group counseling, admission assessments, case management and aftercare planning, crisis interventions, and develop individualized treatment plans. Strong documentation skills and familiarity with OASAS guidelines is a plus!

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays (4:00pm - 9:00pm)
