Job summary

MMB+CO in Latham, NY seeks a Client Accounting Services Senior Associate to help with bookkeeping, month‑end close, financial reporting, and advisory support for diverse client engagements. You will work closely with senior team members and participate in technology initiatives and process improvements.

The role requires problem solving, client interaction, and a desire for long‑term growth in accounting and advisory services, with in‑person work for the first six months and possible flexibility

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, consulting, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/CPA/EA or equivalent credentials are a plus.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop or other systems preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support bookkeeping, month‑end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Assist clients with QuickBooks Online questions and general accounting support.
• Assist with monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Participate in client meetings and support advisory engagements.
• Work in person at client sites as needed and collaborate with the CAS team.
