Job summary

White Glove Placement, Inc. seeks a CAS Assessor to perform comprehensive assessments for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings in Brooklyn and surrounding areas.

The role is full-time, requiring a Bachelor's degree in an approved discipline, at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong communication and documentation skills, and a valid NYS driver’s license or NYS ID. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of the approved disciplines listed.
• Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience working with individuals with IDD in a setting serving the I/DD population.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and electronic documentation systems.
• Valid NYS driver's license or government-issued NYS ID.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned region.
• Availability to work weekends when needed.
• Proof of degree (diploma or official proof of completion) is required.

As a CAS Assessor, you'll conduct comprehensive assessments for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings while working independently and making a meaningful impact across New York.

Position Overview

• Position: CAS Assessor (OPWDD)

• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Location: Brooklyn, NY

• Work Setting: Home and Community-Based Assessments

• Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour

• Weekend Availability: Required as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in one of the approved disciplines listed below.

• Minimum of one (1) year of post-graduate experience working directly with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in a setting primarily serving the I/DD population.

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficiency with computers and electronic documentation systems.

• Valid New York State driver's license or government-issued NYS ID.

• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned region.

• Availability to work weekends when needed.

• Proof of degree (diploma or official proof of completion) is required.

• Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.
