Sweetgreen is hiring a Shift Leader at our Richmond, VA location. You’ll guide the team, uphold hospitality, and ensure food quality and safety on every shift.

This role offers growth toward General Manager within 2 years and a path to leadership opportunities. You’ll keep operations running smoothly, coach teammates, manage pace, and deliver first-in-class hospitality while representing Sweetgreen’s mission of building healthier communities with real food.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Shift Leader or Supervisor role
• Experience in fast-paced environments - restaurant, retail, or hospitality
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining operational standards
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to work in the United States

• Meet all physical requirements for all roles within the Shift Leader career path, including the Kitchen Lead and Team Member roles
• 1+ year of experience in a Shift Leader or Supervisor role
• Experience in fast-paced environments - restaurant, retail, or hospitality
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining operational standards
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• Must be able to work at least 30 hours per week
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
