Graphic Packaging Holding seeks a Structural Designer I in Atlanta, GA, to develop carton structures and production‑ready drawings. You will use ArtiosCAD to create conceptual and production drawings, ensuring compliance with standards and customer specifications.

You’ll coordinate with design, sales, manufacturing, and tooling teams, driving continuous improvement and tooling efficiency. A strong foundation in geometry, drafting, and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred in industrial design, packaging engineering/science, or related field.
• Experience with carton structure design and paperboard substrates is highly valued.
• Strong 2D/3D design capabilities and mechanical aptitude are essential.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and manage design requests, back‑log and project timelines.
• Develop production‑ready one‑up carton drawings using ArtiosCAD and adhere to standards.
• Create conceptual designs, prototype samples, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Document designs, maintain design standards, and seek cost savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and tooling to meet customer specs.
