Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Experience driving a pallet rider and/or forklift.
• Good hand/eye coordination and strong numerical skills.
• Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy.
• Comfort with fast-paced environment and last-minute changes.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Unload cartons onto trailers and verify trailer, door and yard location.
• Tape and secure torn, open or damaged cartons.
• Depalletize cartons as required and perform computer keyboard transactions.
• Use a radio to communicate with appropriate personnel and operate a handheld scanner.
• Process paperwork and perform general floor/work area cleanup.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policy.
