Jimco Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a full-time Cart/Equipment Maintenance Technician/Truck Leader to service supermarket facilities at night across West Coastal Florida.

This hands-on, field-based role involves managing a service truck and operating as a two-person crew, with duties including preventive maintenance and repairs of rolling grocery store equipment. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, reliability, and the ability to work independently in outdoor retail environments,

Qualifications

• Hands-on, field-based role requiring mechanical repair skills.

• Must reside within 25 miles of Largo, FL.
• Valid driver’s license with clean 5-year MVR.
• Willingness to travel throughout West Coastal Florida.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform pressure cleaning, minor MIG welding, caster and wheel changes, and other repairs on rolling grocery store equipment.
• Provide preventive maintenance and minor repairs on industrial/retail equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and complete field-ready repairs.
• Work at night and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Record all time worked, including production, vehicle maintenance, and administrative tasks.

Jimco Maintenance, Inc. is a leading provider of maintenance and repair services across the Southeast. We are seeking a full-time Cart/Equipment Maintenance Technician/Truck Leader to service supermarket facilities at night throughout West Coastal Florida.

This is a hands-on, field-based role that combines mechanical service work with responsibility for a dedicated service truck and assigned territory. The position operates as a two-person crew and requires strong mechanical aptitude, reliability, and the ability to work independently in outdoor retail environments.

• Pressure cleaning, minor MIG welding, caster & wheel change, plus other miscellaneous repairs of rolling grocery store equipment (shopping carts, floats, bakery racks, etc.)
• Mechanically inclined with experience performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs on industrial or retail equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and complete field-ready repairs
• Comfortable working at night, and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to climb, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong organizational, time-management, and route-planning skills
• Effective communicator; able to work independently while coordinating with the corporate office
• Knowledge of applicable safety regulations
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (5-year MVR review)
• Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of operating as a single-person crew
• Willing and able to travel throughout West Costal Florida
• Must reside within 25 miles of Largo, FL (truck parking location)
• Smartphone required for data and voice communication
• Must pass drug screening, background check, and federal Social Security verification
• Accurately record all time worked, including production, vehicle maintenance, administrative tasks, and reactive work orders

Compensation Structure

• Starting pay of $850 per week
• Additional pay is available for completing mandatory reactive work orders and supporting backlog catch-up
