Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is seeking an entry-level team member to support a variety of retail tasks across store departments, delivering above-and-beyond customer service. You will interact with customers and work in areas from service desks to check lanes and parking lot.

This role provides exposure to multiple store operations and development opportunities. Ideal candidates are highly organized, with strong communication skills and the ability to lift and move products in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Fetch and return shopping carts from outside to inside.
• Maintain parking lot, trash in lot and store areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment to clear snow.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk and check lanes.
• Coordinate with departments across store sections.
• Other duties as assigned.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service. What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
