Job summary

Troon is seeking a Cart Barn Attendant at the Alhambra Golf Course in Alhambra, CA. The role supports guest service, keeps the range ready each morning, and stages carts for players, while assisting with ball handling.

You will work closely with Pro Shop staff to ensure smooth operations and compliance with course policies, contributing to a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer/guest orientation
• Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred
• Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
• Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
• Must be dependable

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance
• Ensure the practice range is open and ready for players in the morning
• Stage and organize carts
• Assist in picking balls and washing range balls
• Ensure the cart barn and practice range areas are kept orderly and clean, including restrooms and trash cans
• Work closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for and conduct golf tournament
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
