Job summary

ShopRite of Absecon is seeking a part-time CSA/Carts Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service and maintain a clean front-end. You will collect and return carts, assist shoppers with groceries, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced store environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to company policies, with a focus on accurate pricing checks and customer-first service in Absecon, NJ.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Must be able to stand/walk for a full shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to tolerate dust and cleaning agents.
• Friendly, helpful interaction with Customers.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Adherence to time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work/shopping environment.
• Greet Customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Remove debris from carts and return carts to proper storage areas.
• Handle damaged or return-to-stock products with priority attention to perishables and sell-by dates.
• Follow QA hand washing standards and wear gloves when handling food.
• Perform duties in line with ShopRite Service Priorities: Safety, Friendliness, Presentation, and Efficiency.
