Job summary

Meijer is seeking entry-level team members to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks, product handling, and customer service within the store. Team members enjoy interacting with people and understand what it means to deliver above and beyond service.

As part of the role, you will ferry carts, manage parking lot and interior trash, and help with cleaning and basic store operations. You may work with multiple departments to support daily store needs.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position in Meijer store.
• Ability to lift and move products and handle equipment.
• Strong listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment during winter.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Coordinate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking areas.
• Collaborate with departments across multiple sections.
