Qualifications

• Proven experience installing carpet (minimum 4 years).
• Familiar with all types of carpet and installation methods.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and kneel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Measure and prepare surfaces for carpet installation.
• Install carpet using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Remove old flooring when necessary.
• Trim carpet to fit spaces using carpet knives, stretchers, and tack strips.
• Ensure proper padding and seam placement.
• Clean work areas and ensure a tidy finish.
• Communicate with customers and team members professionally.
