We specialize in high-end projects—including custom decks, pergolas, screened porches, and sunrooms—and we provide our builders with steady, year-round work.

Applicants should reside in Virginia and be able to commute to our project sites and office periodically for team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience focused on decks, pergolas, and roof framing.
• Commitment to craftsmanship, work ethic, and professional appearance.
• Reliable vehicle and a complete set of professional-grade tools.
• Active General Liability and Workers’ Compensation insurance.
• Comfortable with ladder work, heavy lifting, and outdoor conditions.
• Proven punctuality and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Minimum 2-person team.

Responsibilities

• High-End Construction: Build custom decks, pergolas, 3-season rooms, and porches to exact specs.
• Structural Expertise: Execute complex framing, roof structures, and window/door installations.
• Material Handling: Work with pressure-treated lumber and premium composites.
• Blueprint Literacy: Read and interpret detailed architectural drawings accurately.
• Project Oversight: Manage material take-offs, maintain a clean site, and uphold OSHA standards.

Key Responsibilities

• High‑End Construction: Build custom decks, pergolas, 3‑season rooms, and screened porches to exact specifications.
• Structural Expertise: Execute complex framing, roof structures, wood stairways, and window/door installations.
• Material Handling: Expertly work with pressure‑treated lumber and premium composite materials.
• Blueprint Literacy: Read and interpret detailed architectural drawings and building plans accurately.
• Project Oversight: Manage material take‑offs, maintain a clean job site, and ensure all work meets OSHA safety standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience, with a specific focus on decks, pergolas, and roof framing.
