Job summary
Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent fabrication shop in the Nashville TN area, is seeking a Carpentry Shop Helper to join their team. The position offers a day shift from 9 AM to 5 PM and pays $20/hour.
Reporting to the Production Manager, this role emphasizes flexibility, dependability, and a willingness to learn in a hands-on environment. Ideal candidates will be comfortable with physical tasks, outdoor settings when traveling, and collaborating with team members to support
Qualifications
- Experience with fabrication tools and machinery.
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting 50 pounds.
- Reliable, punctual and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Organize and clean workspace.
- Pack and unpack materials.
- Assist builds and prep.
- Maintain shop equipment and perform light maintenance.
- Paint and sand as needed.
- Assist in print shop.
- Support others in specific trade areas as applicable.
