Job summary

Army Recruiting Ohio is seeking a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist to perform carpentry and masonry duties, building essential Army structures using hand/power tools, lumber, concrete, stones, and bricks. You will also assist combat engineers in constructing structures to address rough terrain and environmental hazards.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or I-551 cardholders, have a high school diploma or equivalent, pass a background check and drug screen, and maintain good health.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen or an I-551 cardholder.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a criminal background check with no open law violations.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• No felony.
• Must currently be in good health with no physical limitations.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry and masonry duties using hand and power tools, lumber, concrete, stones and bricks to build important structures for the Army.
• Assist combat engineers in building structures to withstand rough terrain and environmental hazards.
