Description

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Perform general construction labor including jobsite clean-up and moving materials by hand.
2. Operate motorized equipment including power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
3. Assist in pouring of vertical concrete and install reshores per instructions.
4. Quickly learn and assist in vertical installations and removal, framing and decking operations, and distinguish between different types of materials and equipment.
5. Read a tape measure.
6. Work in inclement weather, being exposed to extreme cold and heat, noise, and dust from construction operations depending on the project site.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested.
2. Frequently walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb.
3. Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.

Preferred Experience:

Preference is given to candidates with a minimum of 12 months of formwork/concrete construction work experience as a Carpenter who meets or exceeds performance expectations.
