Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie is hiring an experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead a crew on an active power plant construction project in Carrollton, GA. This leadership role requires supervising carpentry crews, managing daily production, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

As Carpenter Foreman, you will coordinate a crew of 3–15 workers, maintain accurate records, and provide hands‑on supervision while upholding strict safety standards in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial/commercial construction foreman experience.
• Proven experience managing carpentry crews and/or subcontractors.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Strong communication and crew leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule a crew of 3–15 construction carpenters daily.
• Record personnel, production, and operational data on required forms/reports.
• Provide hands‑on assistance to crew using hand tools and equipment as needed.
• Inspect work progress, equipment, and jobsite conditions to verify safety and confirm specifications are met.
• Maintain strict compliance with jobsite safety protocols in a drug‑free workplace.
• Perform physical duties including long periods of stooping, bending, and standing.
• Frequently lift materials weighing up to 70 lbs.
