Job summary

Northeastern Property & Development is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. You will construct, install, and repair wood structures using hand and power tools, following blueprints and building plans.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Carpenter is preferred.
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements.
• Ability to read and take action on blueprints.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools.
• Knowledge of building regulations and codes.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed
• Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters
• Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware
• Fine finish carpentry with an emphasis on interior trim and kitchen installation
• Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals
