Job summary

SummitLab in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Carpenter to construct, repair and install wood-based structures for diverse projects. You will read blueprints, cut materials, assemble frames and fixtures, and ensure quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards.

The position is full-time with a salary of $1,600 per month. No accommodation provided; English proficiency not required. Candidates from India are preferred but all nationalities are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of carpenter experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.

• Good time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape and join materials according to specifications.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, flooring and trim.
• Repair or replace damaged frameworks or other structures.
• Follow safety procedures on site at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
• Clean up work area after completing projects.
