Job summary

Champion Window is seeking a Carpenter / Measure Technician to accurately measure customers' homes for installations and to complete service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction. This position is full-time and on-site, with a comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of home improvement experience, carpentry, roofing, and window installation, and strong measurement and communication skills. A valid driver's license is required to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, construction trade school a plus.
• 3 to 5 years in home improvement / construction involving carpentry, roofing & window installation
• Experience in the use of a brake, and other hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc. required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Math skills including using a tape measure and angles
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Measures for products at customer homes
• Repairs windows, siding, and sunrooms
• Order and tracks repair / installation services
• Assist Management reporting and communication, as requested
• Interacts with homeowners to service their home-improvement needs
• Safely performs all aspects of job in compliance with all federal, state & local laws
