Layton Construction is seeking a Carpenter Helper in Utah to assist skilled carpenters with forming and pouring footings and walls, installing architectural finishes, and maintaining a clean, safe job site. The role supports blueprint reading, concrete knowledge, and layout using levels and lasers on active projects.

The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliability, with opportunities for mentoring and career progression within Layton's project teams.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Ensures that "Constructing with Integrity" is delivered with honesty, unity, safety, and quality of work.
• Assists carpenters to form and pour footings and walls, shored decks, and edge forms for slabs.
• Assists carpenters to install architectural finishes according to specifications and plans if necessary on job.
• Maintains a clean and safe job site.
• Reads blueprints to determine measurements, sizes, locations, types of walls, footings, floors, etc.
• Utilizes carpentry math to calculate measurements required to construct facilities.
• Assists carpenters to apply knowledge of concrete and its properties.
• Assists carpenters to determine elevations and layout using builder levels, transits, lasers, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
