Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie is seeking a Carpenter Helper to support skilled carpenters on commercial construction sites in Dallas, TX. The role involves assisting with building rough wooden structures, handling materials and tools, and keeping work areas clean and safe.

You will follow sketches, blueprints, and instructions, operate hand and power tools, and help with interior carpentry tasks as needed. A focus on safety and complying with a drug‑free environment is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year commercial construction carpentry experience preferred.

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, column forms, scaffolds, or sewer supports, billboard signs, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions.
• May assist Carpenters in interior carpentry tasks such as install doors, wall forms, trim work and hardware.
• Operate hand and power tools as required.
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug‑free environment.
