Job summary

Baker Construction is seeking a Carpenter Helper to assist with constructing, erecting, stripping, and repairing structures using carpenter's hand and power tools in accordance with construction documents. You will work on footing forms, decks, slabs, and tilt-up/precast forms while maintaining a safe work environment.

This entry-level role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience or training; knowledge of cutting and measuring wood and experience assisting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and a minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Must know how to cut and measure wood.
• Must have experience assisting carpenters.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Prefer OSHA 10 certification, if not we will train.

Summary

The Carpenter Helper assists with constructing, erecting, stripping, and/or repairing structures of steel, wood or plywood using carpenter's hand and power tools conforming in construction documents. Will be exposed to all of the following duties but may specialist in one or more areas.
