Mr. Handyman is seeking a skilled Carpenter/Handyman to support both residential and commercial client needs in the Harrisburg area. You will perform high‑quality repairs, communicate clearly with customers, and follow the Mr.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of paid handyman or carpentry experience
• Own your own tools
• Insurable to drive a company vehicle
• Pass a background and driving record check
• Able to lift 50 lbs independently
• Safely work at heights and overhead for extended periods
• Maintain a professional appearance and care for the company vehicle

Responsabilidades

• Complete small to medium repairs and maintenance (2‑hour to 2‑day projects)
• Communicate clearly with customers about scope, recommendations, and pricing
• Deliver a high‑quality customer experience using the Mr. Handyman Way
• Self‑manage your day and work independently
• Provide excellent customer service, collect payments, and request reviews
• Use technology to document work and follow company processes
• Maintain safety standards, including PPE and protective booties in homes

What You’ll Do as a Carpenter / Handyman

You’ll be the expert customers rely on for high‑quality home and commercial repairs. Responsibilities include:

• Completing small to medium repairs and maintenance (2‑hour to 2‑day projects)
• Communicating clearly with customers about scope, recommendations, and pricing
• Delivering a “wow” experience using the repeatable Mr. Handyman Way
• Self‑managing your day while working independently
• Providing excellent customer service, requesting reviews, and collecting payments
• Using technology to document work and follow company processes
• Maintaining safety standards, including PPE and protective booties in customer homes

Minimum Requirements

To be considered, you must:

• Live within the service area
• Have 8+ years of paid handyman or carpentry experience
• Own your own tools
• Be insurable to drive a company vehicle
• Pass a background and driving record checkBe able to lift 50 lbs independently
• Safely work at heights and overhead for extended periods
• Maintain a professional appearance and care for the company vehicle

Your Skillset

You should be proficient in at least three of the following:

• Carpentry
• Bathroom improvements
• Kitchen improvements
• Interior and exterior painting
• Drywall repair (minor and major)
• General plumbing and electrical (as permitted by law)
• Flooring installation or refinishing
• Understanding of building codes
