Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an experienced Carpenter with at least 3 years of hands-on carpentry experience. The ideal candidate will work on residential and/or commercial projects, read blueprints, and produce high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
• Experience with framing, finish carpentry, and general construction.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.
• OSHA certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and install wood and other building materials.
• Build, repair, and install walls, framing, doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and other structures.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform demolition, repairs, and finish carpentry as needed.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and according to safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
