Job summary

Zachry Construction Corporation is seeking skilled Carpenters/Form Setters to join our heavy civil construction teams on highway, road, and bridge projects across the United States. You will build and set forms for concrete structures, read blueprints, and ensure safety and quality in every task.

Applicants should have 3+ years of carpentry experience with CIP forms (Symon, EFCO, Wood), own basic hand tools, and ability to work outdoors in varied weather, including days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of carpenter experience in all types of structural forms (Symon, EFCO, Wood) for CIP.
• Advanced wood forming experience.
• Must provide your own hand tools (hammer, pouch, level, 8" crescent wrench, tape measure).
• Basic knowledge of operating hand and power tools used in construction.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans, sketches, and blueprints.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and climb outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support project needs.

Position Summary

Carpenters/Form Setters perform various carpentry tasks involving physical labor on highway, road, and bridge construction projects. They are responsible for building and setting forms for retaining walls, pipes, and bridges while ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality in every task.

Carpenters/Form Setters work as part of a team on heavy civil construction projects, using their own tools and demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and craftsmanship in all aspects of the job.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Advanced wood forming experience.
• Must provide your own hand tools, such as hammer, pouch, level, 8" crescent wrench, and tape measure.
• Basic knowledge of operating hand and power tools used in construction.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans, sketches, and blueprints.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, including standing, reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, and climbing.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
