Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a Carpenter in construction or facilities maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and install ceilings (acoustical), floors (VCT, carpet, tile), and related structures.
• Build and repair walls, frameworks, casework, and window frames per drawings.
• Assemble materials, obtain quotes, and ensure compliance with VA safety standards.
• Read blueprints and perform work per building plans and specifications.
