- Must have a minimum of 3 years carpentry/woodworking construction experience.
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to communicate with others to convey information effectively.
- Using small hand tools to construct and set forms.
- Assisting other coworkers in all necessary requirements to prepare for the placement of concrete.
- Loading and unloading of equipment.
- Interacting with subcontractors to provide required assistance on construction activities.
- Ensuring that all work is being performed per contract documents, specifications, and provisions.
- Ensuring that all OSHA and company safety requirements are implemented and used properly.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
- Must demonstrate attention to details in woodworking.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Local candidates strongly preferred.
- Rigging experience a plus.
- Concrete formwork experience.
Required Qualifications
- Lifting: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, multiple times an hour throughout a shift.
- Standing: Must be able to stand for 90% of an 8‑12 hr shift.
- Climbing: Must be able to climb 30 ft ladders, 60 ft stairs, and wear a 30 lb harness and tool bags for climbing concrete formwork and rebar.
- Bending and Kneeling: Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and crawl for up to 30 min at a time, multiple times a day.
- Manual Dexterity: Must be able to use small hand tools while standing, bending at the waist, and kneeling throughout an 8‑12 hr shift.
- Vision: Must be able to see while using required safety glasses.
- Hearing: Must be able to wear hearing protection as needed.
- Working Conditions: Must be able to work an entire shift in any of the aforementioned environments.
- Tools and Equipment: Must be able to use/operate small hand and power tools at or below shoulder height while standing, bending, and kneeling; tools range from a few oz to 35 lb.
- Safety: Must be able to follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Must be able to perform the aforementioned tasks while wearing a harness and/or tool bags weighing up to 30 lb for 90% of an 8‑12 hr shift.
