Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of carpentry experience, preferably in commercial or residential construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with common carpentry hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and material requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and other fixtures ensuring proper alignment and finish quality.
• Build and set concrete formwork with accurate dimensions and stability.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on existing structures and fixtures.
• Collaborate with other trades such as electricians, plumbers, and masons to complete projects efficiently.
• Load, unload, transport, and properly store construction materials.
