Job summary

Presidential Staffing Solutions, LLC is seeking a Carpenter to construct, install, and repair wood structures, walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, doors, and windows on hospital grounds. You will follow plans, measure materials, and ensure quality workmanship in a safe environment.

The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and capable of working with hand and power tools. This on-site position requires physical endurance and adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Carpenter is preferred.
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements.
• Ability to read and take action on blueprints.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools.
• Knowledge of building regulations and codes.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed.
• Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters.
• Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware.
• Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals.
