Job summary

DJT Development, a busy commercial and residential construction company, is expanding its residential crew on Long Island. We seek a skilled carpenter with 10+ years of experience in windows, siding (Hardie), and wood framing for projects in Suffolk, Nassau, and the Hamptons.

You must be dependable, punctual, able to work well both in a team and alone, have reliable transportation and a basic tool set. Overtime is available and all pay is on the books; applicant must hold a NYS driver’s license

Qualifications

• 10+ years of residential carpentry experience.
• Experience with windows, siding (Hardie), and wood framing.
• Willing to work in Suffolk/Nassau County and the Hamptons.
• Dependable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.
• Have reliable transportation and a basic set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential carpentry on high-end builds and remodels.
• Specialize in windows, siding (Hardie), and wood framing.

Job description

Very busy commercial and residential construction company looking to expand our residential crew. We work in Suffolk and Nassau County with a significant focus in the Hamptons. We are looking for a skilled residential carpenter with extensive experience in windows, siding (specifically Hardie), and wood framing.

We do commercial finishes and trim as well as high end residential work. Our projects range from mid-size commercial work like restaurants and car washes to larger residential builds and remodels. Looking for someone with at least 10+ years of experience.

• You have to be willing to work hard, be dependable, on time and be motivated.
• Must be able to work well as a team and independently.
• Must have dependable transportation and a basic set of tools.
• Bilingual is a major plus
• All pay on the books, and overtime available.

Applicant must hold a clean and valid NYS driver's license and willing to submit to a Drug Test.
