Job summary

Army Recruiting Ohio is seeking a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist to perform skilled carpentry and masonry duties, building structures for the Army using hand and power tools, lumber, concrete, stones and bricks. You’ll work with combat engineers to support rough terrain and environmental challenges.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or I-551 cardholders, have a high school diploma or equivalent, pass a criminal background check and drug screen, and be in good health.

• Collaborate with combat engineers to construct structures in varied terrain and environmental conditions.
• Use hand and power tools, lumber, concrete, stones and bricks to complete projects.

As a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist, you'll have the skills needed to handle a variety of carpentry and masonry duties, building important structures for the Army using hand and power tools, lumber, concrete, stones, and bricks. You’ll also help combat engineers build structures to respond to rough terrain and environmental hazards.

• Must be a US citizen or an I-551 cardholder.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a criminal background check with no open law violations.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• No felony.
• Must currently be in good health with no physical limitations.

Compensation

Total compensation includes housing, medical, food, special pay, and vacation time.
