Job summary

Tusing Builders LTD is seeking a skilled carpenter to support commercial and residential construction across the region. This full-time, hands-on role requires at least 3 years of field experience and a wide range of carpentry skills.

You’ll work closely with our Field Operations team to deliver high-quality builds with safety and craftsmanship at the forefront. Most work is within 40 miles of our Monroeville, OH office, so you’ll be home each night.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of carpentry experience in commercial and/or residential construction.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety, punctuality, and quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry tasks in all phases of construction from layout to finish.
• Interpret blueprints and follow project specifications to complete framing, drywall, installations, and repairs.
• Build structures such as stairs, mantels, cabinets, scaffolding, and forms for concrete.
• Install doors, windows, partitions, ceilings, and molding.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, join, and finish materials.
• Ensure all work is up to code using levels, plumb bobs, and other measuring tools.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly job sites and follow all company safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with leads, foremen, and coworkers to ensure accurate project execution.
• Support project documentation, material handling, and proper tool/equipment usage.
