Job summary

Maurer Construction, L.L.C. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our growing design-build team. You’ll perform hands-on carpentry, framing, trim, and finish work on residential projects, reading plans and maintaining quality on every phase of the build.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of carpentry or residential construction experience.
• Strong understanding of general residential construction.
• Experience with framing and finish carpentry preferred.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field.
• Cares about quality and takes ownership of their work.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift materials and work in active construction environments.

We’re looking for a Carpenter who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to be part of building high-quality projects the right way.

What You’ll Do

Perform hands‑on carpentry work daily

Framing, trim carpentry, blocking, demo, punch work, and general construction tasks

Assist with layout and jobsite organization

Work alongside subcontractors and help keep projects moving

Read plans and execute details accurately

Help maintain quality standards throughout the project

Communicate with the owner, subcontractors, and clients when needed

Keep jobsites clean, organized, and professional

Assist with material pickups and project preparation

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of carpentry or residential construction experience

Strong understanding of general residential construction

Experience with framing and finish carpentry preferred
