Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge and ability to build forms and set forms.
• Read blueprints; advanced layout; use of Simon forms; layout of anchor bolts.
• Ability to use level (instrument); ability to use transit; ability to tie rebar; Finish carpentry work; able to read tape/ruler; set screeds; material takeoff from drawings.
• Install batter boards; safety requirements for building work; and operation of pneumatic and electric power tools.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect and repair buildings and other structures made of wood, steel and other materials.
• Build concrete forms, scaffolding, bridges, trestles, tunnels, shelters, towers and other structures.
• Read blueprints and perform layout, anchor bolts and rebar work.
