Job summary

Rainbow Restoration is hiring a Repair Technician / Carpenter to perform high-quality residential and commercial repairs after water, fire, mold, smoke, or other damage. The role involves collaborating with Project Managers, customers, subcontractors, and team members to restore properties to pre-loss condition with craftsmanship and care.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, construction or insurance restoration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and job-site safety.
• Ability to read scopes of work, plans, and written instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial repair and reconstruction projects.
• Complete rough and finish carpentry, framing, trim installation, and finish work.
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, countertops, baseboards, and crown molding.
• Install, repair, finish, and texture drywall and paint as needed.
• Protect customer property and maintain clean, safe job sites.
• Communicate project updates and material needs to the Project Manager.
• Document daily work and time records using company software.
