Job summary

ICS, Inc (Industrial Contract Services) in Grand Forks, ND is seeking entry-level carpenters to construct, assemble, install, and repair wooden and other material structures from blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidates are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work in a variety of environments and conditions.

Required: high school diploma or GED, at least three months experience, valid driver’s license, ability to read safety rules and manuals, basic math, and physical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of three months past experience as a carpenter.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide with 10's and 100's).
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead for extended periods.
• Lift and carry at least 50 to 100 pounds.
• Climb and descend all types of ladders.
• Wear personal protective equipment (hardhat, eye protection, respiratory protection, fall protection, etc.).
