Job summary

McGough Construction is seeking a skilled carpenter to assist the Foreman on daily construction tasks. The role covers forming foundations, walls, decks, and millwork, with emphasis on safety and efficient, quality workmanship.

You will contribute to lean initiatives, follow standard work, and help promote a strong safety culture on site. This on-site position requires outdoor work in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, innovative and forward thinking.

Responsibilities

• Forming of foundations, walls, columns, decks, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, doors, hardware, and millwork.
• Support and follow standard work.
• Participate and support implementation of Lean and continuous improvement culture.
• Strongly promotes and supports our safety policy.
